We live above the San Juan golf course, and the train horns echo like an amphitheater.
It is a shame that our City Council and Planning Commission cannot figure out a way to satisfy the liability issue that the insurance company is adamant about.
We spent $7 million on this quiet zone project, of which $1 million-plus was from the city and the rest from Measure M.
It’s time for our city leaders to complete this project. It is amazing to me that we can conquer outer space but can’t implement a quiet zone.
I totally agree. the noise is driving us crazy and is effecting our health. the city needs to do something about this!!!!
