A man and a woman were seen in a verbal argument in the train station parking lot.

ILLEGAL PARKED VEHICLE
Calle San Luis, 26400 Block (9:53 a.m.)
A caller complained that a commercial vehicle, described as a white gardening truck, was parked across the way. The caller said no commercial vehicles were allowed to park on the street.

Monday, January 20

CITIZEN ASSIST
Del Obispo Street, 32000 Block (9:08 p.m.)
A man’s car was locked inside the parking lot at Capistrano Valley Christian School.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE
Sundance Drive/Ortega Highway (8:02 p.m.)
A man was seen standing on a street corner, continually approaching vehicles waiting to make a turn. The man was described to be in his 20s, wearing a white shirt, tie and black pants.

VANDALISM REPORT
Via San Vicente, 31100 Block (2:07 p.m.)
A caller discovered vandalism nearby and said it might have been caused by someone from a street party that took place the prior Saturday.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE
Via Solana, 31100 Block (1:35 p.m.)
A man was seen walking around, soliciting magazine subscriptions. The man was described to be in his 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a medium build. He had black hair and was wearing a white shirt and black pants.

Sunday, January 19

DRUNK IN PUBLIC
Ortega Highway/Interstate 5 (6:38 p.m.)
Three drunken men were seen stumbling into traffic lanes.

KEEP THE PEACE
Woodlake Court, 29600 Block (3:27 p.m.)
A woman said her neighbor was yelling at her because of her barking dogs.

Saturday, January 18

DISTURBANCE-MUSIC OR PARTY
El Camino Real/El Horno Street (11:32 p.m.)
Loud music was audible from an area west of the Mission. Another caller said she heard what sounded like Indian drums coming from El Horno Street.

DISTURBANCE
Kimberly Lane, 26300 Block (8:46 p.m.)
A tenant called authorities after arguing with their landlord, who eventually left the location, possibly in a black Toyota, toward an unknown direction.

ASSIST OUTSIDE AGENCY
Verdugo Street, 26700 Block (6:28 p.m.)
Around six to seven people were taking pictures while standing on the train tracks at the train station.

Friday, January 17

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE
Mission Hills Drive, 27100 Block (6:41 p.m.)
A woman called authorities after smelling an “electric type” fire odor on her front porch, although she could not see anything burning.

TRESPASSING
Camino Capistrano, 32100 Block (12:27 p.m.)
Two people were living out of a recreational vehicle in the Mission Village shopping center, directly behind the laundromat. The two were refusing to leave.

Thursday, January 16

DISTURBANCE-MECHANICAL
Paseo Amante, 31900 Block (10:36 p.m.)
A caller said he heard what sounded like a car hitting trees from behind his home.

DISTURBANCE
Alipaz Street, 32200 Block (10:05 p.m.)
A caller was in a verbal argument with security personnel after the security company towed the caller’s vehicle that night and the night before.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE
Paseo Del Mar, 26400 Block (3:39 p.m.)
A woman received a package on her front porch that was addressed to someone else.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE
Ortega Highway/Interstate 5 (11:42 a.m.)
A male transient was sitting in traffic lanes near the westbound Ortega Highway exit off Interstate 5.

DISTURBANCE
Calle Santa Barbara, 26500 Block (12:08 a.m.)
Two men were in a physical altercation, which involved broken bottles, in the garage. The caller, who was described as being uncooperative by dispatch, said she could only hear the fight. After deputies arrived, people started heading back inside. Dispatch received a call back asking deputies to stay at the scene.

Wednesday, January 15

PROWLER
Edgewood Road, 29300 Block (11:12 p.m.)
A caller said they had heard, but didn’t see, someone jump over their fence and into their backyard. Deputies arrived and cleared the yard.

ILLEGAL PARKED VEHICLE
Paseo Santa Clara/Avenida De La Vista (7:09 p.m.)
A man called from his car, complaining that a white Nissan Sentra was double parked and blocking his way out. The man said he had been honking his horn for 20 minutes with no results.

DISTURBANCE-MUSIC OR PARTY
Calle La Purisima, 31600 Block (6:06 p.m.)
Six men were hanging out and drinking in a vacant lot.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT-NON INJURY
Ortega Highway/Interstate 5 (4:20 p.m.)
A white Chevrolet truck and an Orange County Transportation Authority bus were involved in an accident near the Shell gas station.

TRAFFIC HAZARD
Stonehill Drive/Camino Capistrano (3:35 p.m.)
A caller witnessed a truck dropping a load of white powder out into traffic lanes. The caller thought the powder might have been drugs.

TRAFFIC HAZARD
Via Positiva, 0 Block (1:51 p.m.)
Parents and guardians were double parking their cars in front of Kinoshita Elementary School, causing a traffic hazard.

Camino Capistrano/Avenida Aeropuerto (11:27 a.m.)
A group of juveniles were seen sitting on the train tracks.

Tuesday, January 14

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE
Del Obispo Street, 31800 Block (6:19 p.m.)
An employee at Ralph’s called to report a man and a woman who were panhandling in front of the store. The caller said the pair was doing the same thing a few days ago with a baby.

PETTY THEFT
Ortega Highway, 26800 Block (3:45 p.m.)
A woman called authorities saying she believed her wallet was taken from her purse while she was at the Mission. The woman awaited deputies in the parking lot behind a church.
