Bud Davis, a junior at Saddleback Valley Christian Schools, has been selected to attend the 35th annual Youth Citizenship Seminar hosted at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif. Davis is one of 250-plus high school juniors to attend the five-day event, which is comprised of presentations and workshops to encourage youth citizenship and leadership. Past speakers have included Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda, heavyweight boxing champion George Foreman, actor Ben Stein and Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Maureen Duffy-Lewis. Nearly 250 Southern California schools participated in this year’s selection process. Four students from each school were nominated based on their school participation and academic, athletic, musical and theatrical accomplishments.
