St. Margaret’s Episcopal School announced April 2 that Pat Bendzick will be the school’s new athletic director, effective July 1, 2015. Bendzick will replace former athletic director Susie Maga.

Bendzick comes to St. Margaret’s after seven years serving as the athletic director and head cross country and track and field coach at Canyon High School.

Bendzick, a former NCAA Division I collegiate distance runner, began his coaching career in 2001 at the University of San Francisco. He also taught physical education and sports medicine at the high school level the same year, according to a press release.
