A caller said a father had not taken his son to school and their whereabouts were unknown.

A man called about a “major” leak in a broken gas line. The Orange County Fire Authority and the Gas Company were notified. The man called back saying he thought he stopped the leak, but OCFA still responded.

DISTURBANCE-MECHANICAL
Rancho Viejo Road/Paseo Espada (10:18 p.m.)
A caller complained about leaf blowers at the Bravo Burgers parking lot.

TRAFFIC HAZARD
Rancho Viejo Road/Ortega Highway (10:02 p.m.)
Dispatch was notified by the Orange County Fire Authority about a disabled vehicle in the roadway. Contact was later made with the vehicle’s owners, who said they were waiting to get gas.

PETTY THEFT REPORT
Avenida Cabrillo, 25900 Block (9:47 p.m.)
A male caller said he had left his wallet in his friend’s car the night before. When he got his wallet back, his social security card was gone, and he also reported his eyeglasses were missing.

Paseo San Gabriel/Avenida De La Vista (8:37 p.m.)
At least 10 people were seen drinking and being loud at the end of the cul-de-sac.

A man and a woman were seen in an argument in the parking lot near L’Hirondelle.

MUNICIPAL CODE VIOLATIONS

Subjects were seen spray painting a car in a driveway.

A woman, whose cousin was assaulted the night before and had been taken to the hospital, called to ask questions and provide more information about the incident.

HIT AND RUN PARKED CAR
Camino Capistrano, 31700 Block (11:30 a.m.)
A white Cadillac Escalade was hit by a dark gray Ford Ranger pickup in the parking lot at The Swallow’s Inn. The pickup was last seen heading southbound on El Camino Real.

INVESTIGATE PERSON DOWN
Del Obispo Street, 32300 Block (11:17 a.m.)
A man was seen down on the sidewalk near the parking lot of Farm to Market. The Orange County Fire Authority responded to the scene.

Hilltop Way, 30600 Block (8:39 a.m.)
A male juvenile was seen lying in the bushes in an empty parking lot across from the caller’s location. The caller was unsure if the boy was breathing but didn’t think he was homeless. The Orange County Fire Authority responded. The boy was later released to his mother.

Del Obispo Street/Calle Aspero (7:58 a.m.)
A homeless man that had fallen into the street was back up on the sidewalk but seemed dazed. The man was described to be in his mid 40s and wearing a gray sweatshirt.

Ortega Highway, 26800 Block (9:43 p.m.)
A man was arguing with the manager at Cedar Creek Inn.

DISTURBANCE
Via Sonora/Calle Arroyo (7:48 p.m.)
A group of juveniles started a bonfire down in the creek area.

Camino Capistrano, 31700 Block (5:43 p.m.)
A woman was found on the ground in the parking lot behind The Swallow’s Inn. The caller said the woman was barely breathing. Dispatch reported hearing the caller telling someone to “leave her alone.” The Orange County Fire Authority responded.

Via Del Rey/Paseo Miraflores (10:53 a.m.)
An elderly driver was seen driving a silver Ford Mustang on the walking trail beside the creek bed.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT-NON INJURY
Junipero Serra Road/Interstate 5 (10:38 a.m.)
The driver of a silver Subaru Impreza called after being involved in an accident with a semi-truck on Junipero Serra Road. Both vehicles had pulled onto the shoulder of the southbound I-5 on-ramp, but the caller was concerned the semi-truck driver might try to leave.

Six juveniles inside a dark sedan were loitering and making too much noise, according to a caller.

Police detained three females who were seen drinking wine on the stairs at the soccer fields earlier.

ILLEGAL PEDDLING
Camino Capistrano, 31900 Block (2:40 p.m.)
A subject was selling oranges at the property of Black Belt Tae Kwon Do Academy.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON IN VEHICLE
Ramos Way, 31600 Block (10:04 p.m.)
A caller requested a patrol check for a black van near Los Rios Park that made them feel uncomfortable. The caller said the van was possibly occupied.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON IN VEHICLE
Via Entrada/Avenida Placida (5:08 p.m.)
A patrol check was requested for a white four-door pickup with a bed cover that was seen driving on the hill, coming from the trails. The pickup was last seen heading westbound toward the reservoir.

WELFARE CHECK
Camino Capistrano/Del Obispo Street (1:19 p.m.)
A man and a woman, both in their 40s, were seen lying on the ground at the bus stop near El Adobe Plaza.

Forster Street/El Camino Real
Three male transients were seen urinating in the park and wandering around.

A man said someone was possibly hacking into his computer. The man had called police in February with a similar complaint.

A dog was locked inside a silver Hyundai Elantra parked next to the Mission.

A caller said someone had just tried to enter their residence through the front door.

A male transient was seen urinating on a sign near the construction area.
