Both the boys and girls basketball teams from Capistrano Valley Christian will be in action this week as part of the CIF-SS Championships. Here is a breakdown of each team’s brackets for this week followed by an outlook on the future if the teams advance.

Boys Basketball (Division 5A)
2/13: Capistrano Valley Christian (San Joaquin No. 2) vs. Thacher (Condor No. 3), at Capistrano Valley Christian, 7 p.m.

If the Eagles advance, they will play against the winner of New Community Jewish High vs. Lancaster Baptist in the second round on Friday, February 15 at 7 p.m.

Girls Basketball (Division 6)
2/14: Capistrano Valley Christian (San Joaquin No. 3) vs. St. Monica Academy (International No. 3), at Capistrano Valley Christian, 7 p.m.

If the team advances they will play the winner of Newbury Park Adventist vs. Baptist Christian in the second round on Saturday, February 16 at 7 p.m.
