A new website aims to provide tourists with a one-stop destination to learn all about the goings-on in San Juan Capistrano.

The Chamber of Commerce unveiled its new website,, to the City Council on Monday, June 23. The site is “just about all the fun things going on in town,” said chamber CEO Mark Bodenhamer.

The site, which is live and available to view, lists many of the city’s dining, shopping and lodging options, as well as tourist destinations like the Mission. Bodenhamer highlighted the site’s event calendar, which not only lists major events like the Swallows Day Parade and Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo, but also a budding database of daily events. He said the list will not only serve tourists, but local organizations who want to avoid overlapping events.

The site is already optimized to view on mobile devices, and the chamber’s next movie will be to generate revenue and advertise the site.
