We’re heating up the Z with a night of sizzling stand-up!
On Saturday June 11th we will officially welcome in summer at the Z Playhouse in Mission Viejo with one of the hottest shows in town! Our headliner will be the hilarious Tom Clark!
Tom Clark was born and raised, in that order. He has appeared on Conan, Netflix, Comedy Central, HBO, NBC, ABC, FOX, and CBS. He starred in two comedy specials in the same year, “Outraged” on Amazon Prime & “I’m a Rescue” on Dry Bar Comedy. Tom is also an actor and has appeared on such shows as HBO’s Euphoria and Room 104, NBC’s Outsourced, TNT’s The Closer, and the Hallmark made for TV movie The Wish List. After landing the role on Outsourced, director Ken Kwapis invited Clark to be in the Drew Barrymore movie, Big Miracle. You can also see Clark in Columbia Pictures horror comedy Freaks of Nature.
Also appearing at the Z for this comedy extravaganza is Steph Clark. Clark is described as “a rising star in the LA comedy scene,” by the Pasadena Weekly. Her sarcastic absurdity leaves a lasting impression. She was featured in the Bellflower Comedy Fest, Pubs and Paws Brew Fest, and was in the semifinals for the Ventura Comedy Festival 2 years in a row.
Joining Tom and Steph is the wonderfully funny Brian McKenzie. Brian can be seen performing regularly throughout a variety of OC & LA clubs. His low-key delivery, instant likability, and comedic observations, has made him an audience favorite wherever he performs.
We’re also excited to introduce someone quite new to the comedy stage but in no means a rookie. 89-year-old Don Olsen has but just a couple performances under his belt but has been entertaining work colleagues, friends and family since the day he was born. Don will leave you feeling happy and energized after just a few minutes on stage.
Our summer night of comedy on June 11th will be hosted by the very talented Jennifer Arundale. Jennifer Arundale is an actor, comedian, producer and DIY mom. Jennifer performs regularly at The Irvine Improv, The Comedy Store, The Rec Room, Flappers and a variety of Country Clubs and Resorts and was a finalist in the Funniest Housewives competition and a semifinalist in the Jeanne Robertson Humor Contest.
