The Fiesta Association announced their choice of dignitaries for the 2015 Fiesta de las Golondrinas season. The official announcement was made at the annual Fiesta Association BBQ on Saturday at Reata Park and Event Center in San Juan Capistrano.

Tom Scott and Beverly Blake—president and vice president of Camino Real Playhouse, respectively—have been named Señor San Juan and Ms. Fiesta. This will be the 25th year serving as Fiesta Association volunteers for both of them.

Junior dignitaries are Eduardo Melo, 15, and Alexandra Gonzales, 14. Both teens volunteer with the Great Opportunities program, donating their time and talent teaching underprivileged children to swim.

The dignitaries serve for one year attending Fiesta events as honored representatives of the association.

The Fiesta Association is the all volunteer group that puts on San Juan Capistrano’s Fiesta de las Golondrinas season events, including the main event: the Swallows Day Parade and Mercado Street Faire, set for March 21, 2015.
