On Feb. 5, Capistrano Valley Christian senior Sam Sukut signed a National Letter of Intent to play football for the University of San Diego next fall.

Sukut, a running back for the Eagles, led the team in carries (108), rushing yards (973) and touchdowns (18) in 2013. Sukut averaged 97 yards per game and just over nine yards per carry as a senior.
