Full closures of Interstate 5 in San Juan Capistrano and the Ortega Highway bridge are scheduled for Friday, July 10 from 11:59 p.m. to 6 a.m. and Saturday, July 11 from 11:59 p.m. to 6 a.m. The closures are necessary to allow crews to safely begin the process of removing falsework on the new Ortega Highway bridge, according to Orange County Transportation Authority officials.
