Sam and Vicky Allevato, San Juan Capistrano

We just found out that Toulouse and Minou are to be discontinued from your paper. We have enjoyed these little cartoon characters since 2002 as they are kind, sweet messengers who teach a simple lesson to laugh more and worry less. We need those simple little nuances to remind us what a special place San Juan truly is! Please consider giving Toulouse and Minou a reprieve as they really do put a smile on all our faces.

We are sad to see Toulouse leave the pages of the Dispatch. He and Minou observe and colorfully comment on what’s going on around town and they do it with grace, humor and the wisdom of wondrous discovery.

Come on over to THE Bookstore, Toulouse. Bring Minou and all your friends and explore the world without leaving San Juan. We’ll give you the opportunity to discover wondrous new places and learn new things from great books in our beautiful, well-organized community bookstore on the El Camino Real Street side of the library. Every day will be a new and exciting experience for you and your friends.
