In honor of National Recovery Month, San Juan Capistrano’s Luminance Recovery Center is hosting its first public event—Divine Lights of Change—this Thursday, Sept. 15 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Doheny State Beach, Area #7.

Luminance is inviting community members to celebrate the path to mental health and wellness by hosting a free multi-faith celebration of people in recovery from mental illness and substance use disorders. The evening will feature relaxing music, catered dessert, candle-lighting and prayer. 
Admission is free. Parking is $2 per hour, payable at pay stations in the parking lot.
