Gary Manning, longtime coach of the St. Margaret’s boys lacrosse team, stepped down from the head coaching position today citing personal reasons.
In Manning’s 12 seasons as head coach, the Tartans compiled a 123-54 record and have won the past six consecutive Trinity League titles.
Manning started the St. Margaret’s lacrosse program when he first came to the school 12 years ago.
“We couldn’t be more proud of his accomplishments and are so thankful for all that he has given to this program. We are very pleased that he will continue to be a part of the Tartans lacrosse program and teach Physical Education in our Lower School.” St. Margaret’s Athletic Director Susie Maga said in a statement.
