The Capistrano Dispatch
Children and their families flocked to the Ecology Center on April 11 for the center’s annual Earth Day celebration—a day filled with a variety of eco-friendly activities and entertainment. Visitors were invited to explore the center with a scavenger hunt while enjoying hands-on activities for children and adults, live music and free food. Organic vegetables, herb starts and native, drought-tolerant plants were also available at the center’s annual Spring Seedling Sale. Guests were encouraged to take their eco-awareness to the next level by pledging to make every day Earth Day.
