Rancho Mission Viejo presented checks totaling $100,000 to three local organizations on Wednesday, September 5.
Representatives from Camino Health Center, the J.F. Shea Therapeutic Riding Center and CHOC Children’s at Mission Hospital were on hand at ranch headquarters to receive the checks.
Rancho Mission Viejo donated the funds from proceeds collected from the 12th annual Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo, which took place August 25-26.
Camino Health Center and CHOC Children’s accepted $25,000 checks while the Shea Center received $50,000. Since the rodeo’s inception, Rancho Mission Viejo has donated more than $1.1 million to local charities and organizations.
