Three Saddleback Valley Christian prep sports teams will be in action this week as part of the CIF-SS Championships. Here is a breakdown of their first round matchups along with an outlook on the future, if they advance to the second round.
Girls Soccer (Division 7)
2/14: Saddleback Valley Christian (San Joaquin No. 1) vs. Winner of ‘Wild Card B’ matchup, at Saddleback Valley Christian, 5 p.m.
If the team advances, they will play against the winner of University Prep vs. ‘Wild Card B’ Winner (TBD) in the second round on Tuesday, February 19 at 5 p.m..
Boys Basketball (Division 5AA)
2/13: Saddleback Valley Christian (San Joaquin No. 1) vs. Arrowhead Christian (Ambassador No. 4), at Saddleback Valley Christian, 7 p.m.
If the Warriors advance, they will play the winner of Lennox Academy vs. Yeshiva in the second round on Friday, February 15 at 7 p.m.
Boys Soccer (Division 7)
2/15: Saddleback Valley Christian (San Joaquin No. 2) vs. Marywood-Palm Valley (Majestic No. 2), at Saddleback Valley Christian, 5 p.m.
If the team advances, they will play the winner of Hamilton vs. Desert Christian in the second round on Wednesday, February 20 at 5 p.m.
