After reaching the finals of the Laguna Blanca boys volleyball tournament on March 16, Saddleback Valley Christian’s Nick Worrell and Noah Dyer were selected to the all-tournament team.
The Warriors (9-2, 1-0 league) lost to Beverly Hills in two sets.
Both Worrell, a senior middle blocker, and Dyer, a freshman setter, have contributed to Saddleback Valley Christian’s hot start this season. The team is now finishing up a tough preseason schedule before hitting the meat of their San Joaquin League slate.
The Warriors are currently ranked No. 1 in the CIF-SS Div. 5 coaches poll.
The team was set to face San Juan Hills on March 27 before taking on Ontario Christian on March 28. Results for both games were not available at press time.
