Sunday, October 18

La Zanja Street/Camino Capistrano (8:25 p.m.)
A caller reported multiple men outside fighting. One of the men had a knife and was identified as a gang member. Another caller overheard the men yelling to someone to go grab a baseball bat. One person was spotted on the ground with several men surrounding him.

Camino Capistrano, 31800 Block (8:00 p.m.)
A male transient was threatening to harm the staff inside a restaurant when they closed down for the night. The man was standing in front of the restaurant’s front door before he made a run for a nearby park. As he left, the man threatened to burn the building down.

Saturday, October 17

Via La Jolla, 26500 Block (12:59 p.m.)
A man, believed to be in his mid-20s, was walking up and down a street and walking into garages that were left open.

Friday, October 16

Doheny Park Road, 33900 Block (3:04 p.m.)
A male transient who was begging for money outside of Costco threw food and started yelling at a caller as he drove by. The man was wearing a white hat and cargo shorts and was carrying a sign.

Paseo Brillo, 26700 Block (7:33 a.m.)
A caller alerted deputies to a homeless man with a bright pink bicycle that was living in the bushes near a residence. The caller said the man had been there for two days.

Thursday, October 15

Camino Capistrano, 32100 Block (7:46 p.m.)
A woman with short, spiked blonde hair was screaming at people and saying that she hated everyone. The caller thought the woman was going to attack someone.

Camino Capistrano, 31600 Block (6:51 p.m.)
A man believed to be in his 20s wearing a green backpack stole an iPhone from a customer at L’Hirondelle Restaurant and ran out. The man was seen running toward the Amtrack station.
