The Transportation Corridor Agencies boards of directors announced that they have hired an executive search firm to provide services in support of the search, recruitment and hiring of a new chief executive officer.
Former TCA CEO Tom Margro retired on October 1 after five years of successful leadership and due to personal health issues. At that time, the boards unanimously voted to make Chief Communications Officer Lisa Telles acting CEO until a permanent replacement is found.
“Alliance Resource Consulting is one of the top executive recruiting firms for the public sector in the country and we are certain that they will be a valuable partner to us as we move forward with finding our next generation of leadership,” said Rush Hill, chairman of the San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor Agency.
“We have major projects and initiatives in our near future, including the conversion to all electronic tolling and breaking ground on the State Route 241 Tesoro Extension Project. Our next CEO will join the agencies at an exciting and crucial time,” said Lisa Bartlett, chairwoman of the Foothill/Eastern Transportation Corridor Agency.
Alliance Resource Consulting is based out of Long Beach and is working on a detailed schedule for the CEO recruitment process, available later this month.
