The San Juan Capistrano Youth Advisory Board has teamed up with Mission Hospital to host a benefit concert called Rock the Mission on Saturday, April 27, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Historic Town Center Park, 31806 El Camino Real.
The concert benefits the hospital’s St. Jude’s Auxiliary Program and will feature five different high school bands from throughout Orange County: A Asteroid, Juicebox Bandits, March to the Sea, Shoot Up the Cat and Ugly Paint.
In addition, more than 13 teen educational organizations will host their own activities throughout the park, including the Boys & Girls Club of Capistrano Valley, Relay for Life and the Text Kills bus. A family-friendly “fun zone” will be set up for parents and their children, as well.
Guests can also purchase meals from Domino’s Pizza, Vito’s and Mission Grill.
Tickets cost $5 presale and $7 at the event. To purchase tickets or for more information, contact Alicia Hoover, Mission Hospital’s coordinator of student volunteer services, at alicia.hoover@stjoe.org or Jameson Johnson, co-chair of the Youth Advisory Board, at jamesonwhiskers@yahoo.com.
